THE REAL MC COY
People who have heard and seen Caroline in action know that she's a full-blooded singer and artist. She writes her own songs and has also produced her own albums; "Compassion" which came in 1992 and the new CD "Talk With Eve". In addition to this, Caroline Waters has a strong empathy and an honest, social involvement. Three homeless cats to whom she has opened her home and refrigerator know this. She burns for women's and children's rights and has given vocal seminars at a support center for survivors of incest.
- Singing is a strong and unique tool to get in touch with your feelings. To work with your own voice can make you stronger and more whole. Music is therapy for myself, also. I work through hurtful and difficult experiences through music and lyrics and feel privileged to have this opportunity.
- Are you a person who is often depressed?
Caroline shakes her head and laughs with the green eyes: - They say that people with red hair are more fragile in terms of sunlight and alcohol. They also say they're more sensitive than others.
- Is it correct?
- I know I'm very sensitive. Especially with other people. I have a strong temper and can get very angry.
- In other words, you're a genuine redhead?
- Quite genuine. To be so sensitive and so vulnerable can be horrendous because you experience things so intensely. But it is also the opposite. I have moments with intense, all encompassing happiness. So when you add it all up, I'm happy to be who I am.
